Yesterday was the last day of the play (scroll down to page three – my name in cyberspace) and, as usual after a run, I feel like my life is my own again. Theatre: can’t live with it, can’t live without it. Like chocolate…
So today, I’m having fun catching up on emails and news. While traveling the blogosphere, I came across an interesting tidbit on Crooks and Liars. They are a little left of me (no kidding), but we seem to generally hate the same people, the war and those back-stabbing self-centered egomaniacs we hired to run the U.S. Surely, I had nothing to do with this… I didn’t mean to, I SWEAR it. They need to all be fired, laid off, pink-slipped and we’ll start over. We could not do worse.
Anyway, despite our different leanings, C&Ls like the Dixie Chicks. So, heck, they can’t be too far off track!
Here’s a tune I missed way back in March: the Dixie Chicks response to the nimnob who threatened their lives over The Bush Remarks.
What a world. I guess it takes all kinds, although some of them push my buttons big time. OK, back to life. Love, Saratica
