Forget Kill Bill: Inglorious Basterds is the one. Feel good movie of the year.
And, hey, if I had a million dollars, I would bet it all that Brad Pitt is Robert Redford's biological son. Gotta be.
This is the second excellent movie this week, by the way. We rented Star Wars Trek: The Future Begins. It was EXCELLENT – great fun! I could watch it again. You know there's going to be a II with these cute youngsters. William Shatner will always be my first love, even as a geezer… Still, I'm looking forward to the next star date. iViva larga y prospera!
Star WARS????????????
what do you mean star WARS ????????????????
its star TREK, you have just used your get out of jail card…do NOT do it again ROFL
Oh, man, how can I hold my head up now???? SORRY!!!! I will pay better attention…
if you liked this new Trekkie flick, see if you can find a copy of:
“Grand Tour – Disaster in Time” (1992) aka “Timescape”
which, while out of print, is sometimes available from Amazon.com for a reasonable price on DVD.
The film is by David Twohy who afterwards directed ‘The Arrival’ and “Pitch Black” (aka “The Chronicles of Riddick”).
“Grand Tour”, while low-budget, should intrigue you with its good character development and intriguing unfolding of plot. It’s a quiet little gem, IMO.
Now I’ll have to go check out that new Star Trek entry you mentioned…
¡Pura Película!
