“then you probably shouldn’t trot around on your midget pony.”
Excellent article. It continues to amaze me when I talk to people who don’t realize how low the states is on the “human rights” scale.
Partly my fault – I am just not the activist type. If I were, the current state of things would make me lose my mind, head blow up, withered brains everywhere…
I hear you… being outside the borders brings everything in perspective. When I was inside, I don’t think I could afford to see just how bad it was. Too uncomfortable… get the heck outta there!
Good article. I’m with Julie. Brains everywhere; not a good visual.
Hey Sally, got an off-topic question for ya. My oldest is home now, she has medium asthma. This year w/ all the weird weather her symptoms have been worse than usual. I just found out they are banning CFC inhalers and replacing them w/ something else. CFC rescue inhalers worked great and were fairly inexpensive… these new things are hella $$ and aren’t working – not propelling the meds well enough to work as I just witnessed tonight.
Got me thinking… how’s your son doing??
I was hoping to get to Mex on vaca this year – might go early and get my kid some inhalers – hopefully can get them through airport security. Damn PTB*.
*Powers That Be.
Hi Robin, Ryan is doing great. Doesn’t use anything. We gave up dairy which has been helpful to all of us on the stuffed-up score. He does the netti-pot routing at least twice a week which clears any and all allergens from his nasal passages – this is incredibly beneficial. He only has shallow breathing when he eats too much pasta and/or sugar. Drinking a lot of water and eating some protein clears that up… it’s amazing. The longer I’m here, the more I believe food is the poison or the cure. We are what we eat… Can you scatter inhalers throughout the luggage? Surely they aren’t paying THAT good of attention in the luggage area unless it looks valuable. Can you keep your U.S. plastic holders and just replace the inside goods? Then they will look like U.S. bought inhalers. Not that I’m advocating smuggling the drugs you need to save your daughter’s life or anything. Damn PTB!!!
Funny you mention the food we eat. (she doesn’t do dairy actually & I try to get her to do the neti thing – she gets busy and forgets) I’m trying to transition us to at least 2 days a week of eating raw. Nothing cooked/processed. She is in and out & works all day so it’s a little more difficult to get her system cleared but I’m trying. She has a terrible time w/ sinus issues in general. Glad Ryan’s doing so well!! Take care!
