Thank you for all your emails and sending the white light. It worked: Xavier seems fully recovered. He must have strained something working out. There is simply no other explanation. It’s completely gone now. Still mystifying… I owned an aerobics and strength training business for 17 years in Key West and never saw anything this extreme (and, honey, I hurt some people). My students called me Sergeant Sally. Haha… just made me meaner! But an extreme muscle strain is the only explanation left… he feels great now. Pura Vida!!!
Yay!!! So glad!
Yep, that’s how I got by for 5 years with gallstones. It’s not always a problem.
Promise if he has another attack, you’ll do a ultrasound (or whatever they do to detect it) just to be sure.
So glad he is better and hoping you have a great Valentine’s. 🙂
I promise!!! Yesterday was X’s birthday, #57, so we went to the movies (Borat – ohmygod, don’t waste your money) and to dinner. Very nice!
Hey! Maybe now you understand why the cinemas in CR have the age-limits on various films. I saw the actor from Borat on The Tonight Show when the film was first out here in the US and the actor stayed in character during the whole segment with Jay Leno. It was tiring to me after a few minutes and so I never felt the need to see any more of that schtick. Saved six bucks, too.
There are lots of wonderful foreign films offered in SJ, from many different countiries. Only drawback is they’re usually subtitled in spanish. But, hey, that’s good reading practice. And they’re great alternatives to all those
BO-ring-AT type films.
Cheers!
Paul

Thanks, Paul. Yes, I have learned my lesson on many fronts after last night!
