Hal says this is definitely not an improvement. Not yet, anyway. I can see past the swollen, bruised, sutured eyes and see the beautiful young me lurking underneath. I look better already! You can see it too, if you squint. And, of course, that’s all I can do. Probably a really really good thing.
Here are the Day 1 photos… don’t look if you are squeamish. I look like a wanna-be prizefighter after her first fight. No pain, just a little uncomfortable, can’t open my eyes all the way. And very tired! They knocked me out. Tomorrow I see the doctor for a check, then Saturday the sutures come out. It’s all pretty groovy so far. Hasta la vista, baby! S.
Thanks for sharing. YIKES! It looks like it hurts.
Great costume for real though! You will emerge a butterfly Macha!!! Hope you post progress photos.
I’m still hung up on the photos of your new home.
That is a Tico Mansion! What a bargain. I about
fell out of my chair when I saw the automatic
garage door opener in the garage after having seen ALL the other rooms, spacious kitchen, gardens, and all the windows. Very interesting house.
My house is called Casa de Vidros too but it’s nothing compared to yours… the Beverly Hills Mansion. I love it.
TAKE IT SLOW moving in (hire help and rest)
Yeah, right. YOU Go girl.
HOLY CRAP! I just looked at the pics, speechless here. My first impulse is to lash out at someone, anyone for letting them do that to you. I wasn’t prepared for it. I thought you were beautiful just the way you were. Wow, what an impact. Guess I’m not going to be the next in line. Hope Hal and the boys are treating you like a queen.
