is sooooo totally dirty. Clean laundry piled on the ping pong table, the floors need a once-over… just the basics, I guess. Usually by this time, the maid's been here twice already and everything looks neater. I miss my maid… but I'm not missing anything else. Ha ha, get it? Still, somebody needs to clean this place. I'm too busy to worry about cleaning. Much, much too busy. See?
Sorry, I won’t be much help in Jan. 🙂 I’ve got clean clothes sitting on the dryer & I half-assed vacuume daily b/c Haku sheds like mad. But only b/c I have to. lol.
Sounds like we’ll feel right at home there!
Looking forward to it! 🙂
Hehehehe…I know the feeling! What are you using to edit the videos? So much to learn so little time to clean. 🙂
My occassionaly cleaning lady is back. I told her about your experience. Don’t think we’ll be having any issues.
Suggested reading_ Don Aslett’s Speed Cleaning. It’s amazing how much you can accomplish in just 15 minutes. If everyone in your household did 15 minutes, twice a day, you probably could get by for awhile without a maid. Suggestion: make a game out of it and put slips of chores into a jar, everyone draws two slips and accomplishes those projects for the day. One day at a time. You will be surprised how efficiently your house maintains it’s order. Consider it “husband training” for the boys, they can wash clothes, too!
Do you watch Cesar Millan??
I don’t think I can trick teenagers with a cleaning game… but they help a lot: they hang/take down/fold laundry, they take turns doing the kitchen every day, wash the car. Mo is doing gardening and chicken coop building to earn money for a new guitar (he only has 3 plus my ukelele)… now he wants to buy tools to make a guitar. Floors and windows are going to be tougher, but the 15 minutes a day. Oh, twice a day. That’s a lot (lol). We could start with once…
I don’t watch Cesar Milan. I bought Winston from Dr. Phil’s dog trainer guy, Adam Katz, dogproblems.com, so he was well trained when we got him. We are not good about training, but Winston is a great dog, eh?
oh, Robin, I hope I have a maid by the time you get here… you won’t want to stay!!!
Jen: I use good ole Windows Movie Maker, came with the computer. Simple, easy. I tried a few programs but they are bulky and I don’t do much (clearly).
Good…Hal will feel right at home at chez Badgett.
Good to see someone practice the uke. Not much of that here
