And now for something almost completely different, I’ve recently watched 3 or 4 episodes of “House Hunters International” where people were buying vacation homes on the Pacific in CR. Most were shot 2-3 years ago, when real estate was hotter down there and the economy wasn’t so bad up here. I really would like to find out how any of those buyers are feeling about their purchase & CR today. I don’t suppose you’ve heard anything through the grapevine about this?

The only thing I hear is that it is slow. In Key West, people who bought two years ago are crying, many losing the houses to foreclosure. Fortunately they didn’t put any money down since everyone who drew breath qualified for a 100% no questions asked loan. There are starting to be some very good deals out there, including here. We shall see…
