My favorite word. Practice it here: Bookcrossing.com. Can’t wait to start leaving the contents of my ten 40lb M-Bags of books on park benches. One book at a time, of course.

You know, I tried Bookcrossing a few years back – probably still have an account there, even though I haven’t looked at it a long time. But I found that I felt bad leaving books unattended in odd places… almost as if I’d abandoned them in some way. I just couldn’t keep doing it!
Yeah, like leaving the baby on the bus… but I’m giving it a try. I would so LOVE it if a book I left on the bus showed up there one day!
What a absolutely SIMPLE and fantastic idea.
I’ve never heard of such but I count on you to bring these things to my awareness. I think IF I’m ever diagnosed “terminal”, I’ll leave my precious books and belongings all around here. Pay it forward. Love the concept.
