That was Dreamgirls for me. The movie did have its moments. But I saw Dreamgirls on Broadway. Film has a hard time going up against live theatre for magic.
Not only that, they took out the song from whence came my 4M (my memorable movie moment): "Even though my man throws confetti in my face, that still don’t make it no party. No, no, no, it ain’t no party, baby." Heck, Ain’t No Party wasn’t even IN the movie! They did add the brilliant Listen…
